How To Create Vlan In Vmware Vsphere

I know you can log directly into an ESXi host and create VLANs, but is it possible to do in vCenter? Not on a distributed switch, just on a standard switch.
I got it figured out! Virtual Machine Port Group for a Standard Switch!! I was only seeing existing VLANs in the drop down and didn't realize I could type in that box too! My bad! Thanks!

In VCSA click your host, go to configure, Networking, Configure virtual switches
If you mean you want to do it in VCSA so they all get the vSwitch you need to use host profiles, but your NICs and backend switch need to also be configured for this
Configure one, assign it the master and copy the profile to the other hosts
If I misunderstood what you wanted, please let me know
I've done it logging directly into the ESXi host, but can't find the option in vCenter. I pick my host in vCenter, go to Configure, Networking and have Virtual Switches there, but don't see where to add a VLAN. I can edit or delete a VLAN I created already, but I'm missing something! I have the optiosn to add a VMkernel Network Adapter, Physical Network Adapter or Virtual Machine Port Group for a Standard Switch.

Either edit an existing vSwitch (its on the first page under properties) or when you add networking, its on the last page
Sometimes you can't see the wood for the trees
